Our terms and conditions outline the necessary obligations for Big Softies to provide you and your little ones with Big Fun.
Please check availability of date, time and equipment required by contacting Big Softies either through email or direct message via our social media platforms.
All booking enquiries are provisional and will be confirmed by Big Softies upon receipt of a completed booking form, which will be sent via email with our Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to decline a booking enquiry if the date or time proposed is not available, however we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
A holding deposit is required to secure a booking which is exclusive of the total package amount. An invoice will be sent for this via email once the contract has been signed and sent. This will also act as a Damage Deposit and will be refunded in full within 48 hours of equipment collection, providing there is no damage.
When Big Softies has received a completed booking form, signed contract and deposit we will email to confirm the details of your booking.
Any balance remaining will be due 72 hours before the confirmed Hire date. Payment will be via Bacs (details are provided on the deposit invoice).
In the event of your amending your booking or cancellation, 7 days notice must be given for your deposit to be refunded or transferred to another date subject to availability. In the event we are unable to transfer to a suitable date or less than 7 days notice has been given; no refunds will be offered.
If Big Softies cancels the booking (excludes reasons beyond our control) any money paid will be refunded.
We are unable to guarantee the weather and some items are manufactured for indoor use only. We will liaise with you at the earliest stage if the weather forecast is unsuitable for outdoor hire. Big Softies will not refund any money if the weather forecast is unfavourable, or turns bad on or during the day of hire and no alternative shelter (for equipment) has been arranged. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for the cleaning, repair or replacement if any item is returned broken or damaged.
All prices are subject to change at any time, excluding confirmed bookings.
We provide free delivery and collection within a 10 mile radius of B43. An additional charge of 45p per mile will be added for all subsequent miles.
A minimum of 1 hour is required for equipment set up and take down, so this must be considered when the hirer is booking a venue for their event. We endeavour to deliver on time, but Big Softies will not be held responsible for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond our control.
Please ensure there is adequate parking available close to venue or on-site for both delivery and collection of equipment.
There should also be clear access as equipment can only be delivered to a suitable open space. We will not be responsible for moving any items at the venue to create space for the equipment.
It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure the chosen venue has a suitable, clean, safe space for the equipment to be set up. We reserve the right to refuse set up if the designated area is deemed unsuitable and would result in a loss of deposit.
It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure all aspects of the "Playtime Rules" are adhered to throughout the duration of the hire. Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
The soft play items must remain on the floor mats. All balls must be inside the ball pond on collection. Any damage must be reported to Big Softies as soon as possible and may result in an additional fee.
Big Softies is covered by Public Liability Insurance. A copy of our documents are available on request.
DISCLAIMER - Please note that all persons using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person hiring the equipment will be liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result of, misuse or reckless use, therefore Big Softies cannot accept any responsibility for any accidents, injury or damage caused during the hire period.
